Although best known for Michelin starred restaurants,
swanky hotels and expensive boutiques, there is plenty
to discover in the exclusive third valley that doesn't
require a platinum card. There are 4 main centres, Le
Praz (1330), 1550, 1650 and 1850. Access to the best
pistes is excellent from all, with direct telecabines
from both 1300 and 1550.
The village
links easily with the other resorts in the Three
Valleys, Meribel, Motteret, Les Menuires and the
highest skiable village in the Alps, Val Thorens.
Courcheval is not one of life's cheapest options
however and if you want to enjoy the great
nightlife and extensive wining and dining
available, don't forget your credit card. Click

intro to the Ski France .co.uk stuff.

On the
mountain
This valley
features the best of everything. Beginners have a
network of green pistes enabling them to explore as far
as quieter 1650, staying well within their comfort zone.
Intermediates will be flattered on the cruisey reds or
blues depending on the mood or the intended lunch venue.
