Ski-Lifts
Meribel is the only single resort to offer 16 high capacity
gondolalifts. And also: 18 chair-lifts (including one 8 seater and two 6
seater), 18 drag-lifts, 8 telebabies.
Ski Runs
In the valley of Meribel alone: 150km (94 miles) of groomed runs and
28km (17 miles) of itineraies! 9 black, 21 red, 33 blue and 11 green 2
Olympic runs, 1slalom stadium And 2 great snowboard areas
Two Area for Snowboarders
Whether you are a beginner or an advanced snowboarder, a freestyle or a
freerider, goofy or regular, whether you fancy improving your technique,
your tricks, or only live upside down, Meribel puts two fabulous areas
at your disposal.
- In Meribel-Mottaret, the
Platteres snowpark: on a total area of 15 acres, 5000' long 985'
vertical drop, includes 1 half-pipe, 1 baby-pipe, 2 quarter pipes, 3
tables, 1 spine, 2130' boardercross (featuring quater pipes and hip and
hup bump) , 1 Salomon test equipment chalet.
- In Meribel, the Arpasson
moonpark : 4000' long, 660 vertical drop, offering 1 compettion standard
half-pipe (460' long, 150 vertical drop,20 degree slope), 1 half-pipe
dedicated to initiation (400' long, 130' vertical drop, 18 degree
slope), and 3300' long boardercross (with whoops, tables and other
obstacles). |
